SBR XBRL for Belastingdienst. Done right, every year.
Every Dutch company liable for corporate income tax must file its Vpb return in SBR format via Digipoort. XBRTags handles the taxonomy mapping - you send the report, we return a Digipoort-validated, tax-adviser-ready XBRL file.
SBR filing for corporate income tax has been the standard route to Belastingdienst for years, and coverage has only widened. Every fiscal year brings taxonomy updates, expanding disclosure requirements, and tighter validation rules on Digipoort. Most companies discover that managing this internally - with software, in-house taxonomy knowledge, and annual update cycles - consumes far more resource than expected.
Does SBR XBRL apply to your company?
Send us the report. We handle everything else.
Nederlandse Taxonomie mapping
Every financial statement and tax computation line item mapped to the correct NT concept. We track every annual taxonomy release so you don't have to.
Full detail tagging
Balance sheet, profit and loss, tax computation and required disclosures - tagged by a specialist, never automated.
Digipoort validation
Every file is test-submitted against Digipoort before delivery. No file leaves our workflow with validation warnings.
Unlimited revisions
Tax adviser queries, late corrections, re-tagging - every engagement includes unlimited revisions at no additional cost.
Why Dutch companies choose a managed service over XBRL software.
Your team learns the taxonomy, tags manually, fixes validation errors, re-tags annually.
Submit your report. Receive a validated file. No taxonomy knowledge needed.
Your responsibility to re-map to each year's Nederlandse Taxonomie release.
Included. We track every NT release and apply it to your filing.
Often charged per revision round.
Unlimited. Always free. Re-validated each time.

SBR XBRL questions, answered.
Companies liable for Dutch corporate income tax (vennootschapsbelasting) must file their return via SBR/Digipoort. Not every legal entity is Vpb-liable - some foundations and associations are exempt below certain thresholds - so this is a narrower obligation than KVK annual-accounts filing.
No - they are separate filings with separate authorities and separate deadlines. SBR-tax goes to the Belastingdienst for corporate income tax; KVK annual accounts go to the Chamber of Commerce trade register. A company can be in scope for one, both, or all three regimes.
SBR-tax filings use the Nederlandse Taxonomie, the Dutch national XBRL taxonomy, maintained for technical processing by Logius.
Digipoort is the Dutch government's secure electronic gateway for SBR-based filings. It's the required transmission channel for both SBR-tax returns and KVK annual accounts filed via SBR.
Many companies do. Both filings can be handled under a single engagement - one contact, coordinated delivery through Digipoort - rather than managing them as separate, disconnected tasks.
Technically yes, using SBR-compatible accounting or tax software, but most companies use an accountant or specialist because of the tagging complexity and the risk of a rejected filing if the taxonomy mapping is incorrect.
